We have a lot of great radius for defenseman but this one we recently developed is for the pure defensive defenceman. If you are a shut down guy who can lower the boom on players with his size and strength (Think Zdeno Chara, Brooks Orpik, Shea Weber) then this combination radius may be for you. This radius is tuned for accelleration and extremely fast up/down forward and backward speed for those times when you need to get back to D fast. It also has the stability to give and take brutal bumping in front of the net and in the corners without losing your balance or positioning. This radus comes with a neutral pitch for good 2-way skating and to get the maximum power in backwards pushes. Having powerful pushes is critical when you have a fast opponent approaching you, nothing more embarrising than letting someone fly by you.

If you are sending in unsharpened new steel, there is an additional $20.00 fee ($30 for Blackedges) to establish the initial sharpening. Great R&D by Bob on New Defensive Defenseman Profile
Skated a couple of times on the new defensive defenseman profile. Outstanding. The new defensive profile has made a huge difference in speed, stability and confidence skating backwards. What I give up on tight button hook turns I more than make for with speed and stability. And the turning radius is still pretty tight anyway. Great job Bob!
